ABOUT

Alexandre Calaça Baptista

International Consultant — Real-World Evidence, Market Access & HEOR

I'm an evidence generation professional with more than 15 years across pharma, consulting and academia. My work sits where data, economics and access decisions meet: making sure a therapy's value is demonstrated in the form payers and HTA bodies need to see.

Before going independent in February 2019, I was Head of Data Generation for Europe & Canada at Takeda, covering oncology and IBD. Since then I've advised global, regional and national stakeholders on evidence generation and market access strategy, in oncology, diabetes, cardiovascular, rare diseases and IBD, among other areas.

I'm also Co-Founder and Scientific Coordinator of the Pharma Global Market Access Course at the University of Lisbon's Faculty of Pharmacy, a postgraduate programme accredited by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).
